The process is fascinating, the results are beautiful (though there's still one minor drawback ...) and the potential is simply stunning.

Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 8:25AM One of the many many upsides of having friends in the arts is that you get invited to some amazing art openings. I recently went to see Kim Dorland's first solo show in New York at Mike Weiss Gallery. Of course I had no idea who he was, let alone his shtick... I was blown away! Seriously! Here are some of his paintings (pretty sure they are sold already!) which can still be viewed at Mike Weiss through January 8, 2011.
